About Connie

For the first six years of my legal career, I served as a public defender and staff attorney at the Massachusetts Committee for Public Counsel Services (CPCS). I proudly represented over 500 individuals unable to afford attorneys and facing criminal charges in District Courts. I practiced in Cambridge, Somerville, and Malden District Courts, where I honed my oral advocacy skills and developed my courtroom presence.

In 2018, I embarked on a new chapter and established my own private practice. In over 11 years of practice, I have advocated in over 750 cases, achieving life-changing results for my clients by securing numerous dismissals, acquittals, suppression of key evidence by uncovering illegal conduct by police, and preventing criminal complaints from issuing against my clients.

quotation mark

I truly do not think there was anyone better for my case than Attorney Connie- she represented me on a case of three felonies (assault & battery) and 2 misdemeanors (disturbing the peace and resisting arrest). From the moment we met in court; her dedication, commitment and willingness to go above and beyond was evident. As an undocumented immigrant, I needed an attorney who would go the extra mile to ensure the best outcome and that is exactly what she did. From building a strong relationship with me as a client, to effectively communicating and educating me on every part of the process; Connie never left my side. My parents and I are forever grateful to have had her on my team, she played a pivotal role in our lives by providing me with exceptionally excellent legal representation.

I had an incredible experience with Connie Tran, she took the time to understand the nuances of both my criminal case where I was the accused and not only got the charges dropped but also helped me clear my record. Connie also represented me as a witness in a separate federal trial and saved me so much time and headache through her expertise and experience and I had as enjoyable an experience as one can have testifying in a federal trial. This was an incredibly difficult and stressful time in my life and it was survivable in large part because of my confidence that Connie was in my corner and knew the cases and the system so thoroughly.
