J. Connie Tran, Esq.

Born in Long Beach, California, to Vietnamese refugees, Connie Tran was raised alongside five siblings in Winter Park, Florida. As one of the youngest in a large immigrant family, her passion for fairness and devotion to individuality developed at an early age. By the age of 12, she had already envisioned her future and committed to becoming the first lawyer in her family.

In 2018, Attorney Tran established her private criminal practice. Over more than 13 years, she has advocated in over 1,000 cases, achieving life-changing outcomes for her clients through dismissals, acquittals, suppression of key evidence by uncovering unlawful police conduct, and preventing the issuance of criminal complaints.

During the first six years of her legal career, Attorney Tran served as a public defender and staff attorney with the Massachusetts Committee for Public Counsel Services (CPCS). In this role, she represented more than 500 individuals who could not afford legal representation and were facing criminal charges in District Courts. Practicing in Cambridge, Somerville, and Malden, she developed strong oral advocacy skills and a commanding courtroom presence.

Her approach to legal representation extends beyond traditional practice. She is committed to developing individualized, client-centered strategies, with a strong emphasis on pre-arraignment preparation and early, thorough investigation. Driven by genuine curiosity, she seeks to understand each client’s unique circumstances and takes a holistic approach to their defense, recognizing that outcomes can significantly impact clients’ careers, relationships, and reputations.

With a lifelong commitment to justice and fairness, Attorney Tran is dedicated to empowering her clients and protecting their rights. She strives to guide each client through the legal process with clarity, advocacy, and unwavering support.

These experiences solidified her desire to become a lawyer who not only fights hard in the courtroom, but also listens closely to her clients’ stories, needs, and goals.
